The Speed Wall
An IFSC licensed, official world record, speed climbing wall, it’s impressive to say the least! With two identical pre-set speed routes , the competition puts two climbers head to head, and the fastest climber wins the round, proceeding towards the final. Fastest climbers in the world are currently now clocking times well below ten seconds, so it’s guaranteed to make an exciting event.
The Hanger
The main competition wall, knows as 'The Hanger', is an articulated wall with 14 metres of increasingly overhanging climbing, and topped off with a four metre horizontal roof! Designed to take 'volumes' (essentially giant holds with more holds attached to it) and with other special features, it adds an extra dimension to climbing for both the competitor and the spectator to watch. The articulation also allows the routesetters to be more creative and challenge the competitors. So until the event day…… the route will remain a surprise!
The North West Wall
A complex 18 metre high, and 20 metre wide wall, featuring; grooves, vertical walls, roofs, aretes, and even the odd slab! The routesetters weave devious lines through this challenging terrain which will keep the climbers guessing and entertains the spectator.
