Bus:
While there is no direct bus route to the Climbing Arena, the Lothian Buses X48 stops in the town of Ratho nearby. From Ratho you’ll find the centre a short walk along the canal towpath.
• Get off at the bus stop opposite ‘The Bridge Inn’
• Cross the road so you are on the same side as The Bridge Inn
• Head back across the bridge over the canal and turn to your left on to the Union Canal towpath.
• Take a walk along the towpath which will take around 15 minutes.
Shuttle bus to the EICA:
A shuttle bus will be operating between the Ingliston Park & Ride (near Edinburgh Airport) and the EICA:Ratho. The service charge is £1.00 per person each way for spectators and competitors.

Bicycle:
From Livingston, Uphall and Broxburn.
• Cycle routes take you from Livingston, Uphall and Broxburn and converge at the side of the Union Canal by Muirend.
• From Muirend you follow the side of the canal past Clifton Mains to our doorstep.
• From Edinburgh city centre you can cycle along the union canal, taking you past Fountain Park, Edinburgh Park, and Ratho village.
